The parking felt safe, which matters to us. We often stay in this area on our Germany to Spain drive because we always have dinner at L'Angelo. For the price, the rooms are okay but basic. Breakfast for two was 29'80€, far too much, especially since boiled eggs were the only hot choice. A half liter of beer was 9€. I'd sleep here again if the rate was right, but I wouldn't order breakfast.

Be careful about booking far ahead with a debit card. I booked six months in advance and it resulted in a block on my account. The hotel group's policies feel high handed and detrimental to customers. I wouldn't book in advance.

The rooms were nice and clean, the food was good, and we even had sunshine. But what really helped us was the staff. Our car had broken down, and SOS International arranged one night's stay while we waited for a hire car. When checkout came, we'd still heard nothing from SOS, and sorting out our return trip would take all day. The staff kindly let us stay in the rooms longer, and we spent the day waiting on the terrace. Everyone was helpful throughout. Margaux at reception helped us book the right taxi and the right hotel in Lyon. Without her, we'd never have managed it. Big thanks from the whole family!

Campanile used to be a nice hotel, but it's run down now. By 8:30 on Sunday morning, a lot of the breakfast was already gone. Stay away.
