Hotel De La Couronne

The team made our stay. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and spoke English really well. Special thanks to Alexandre, who checked us in, arranged a baby cot for our son, and then served us a cold drink as the bartender, always so warmly. This is a charming little hotel in a great spot, right in the middle of the old town. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate, with modern bathrooms, and private parking next to the building is very convenient.

Step outside and you’re right in the centre of town, with everything easy to reach on foot. Since the Christmas market was on, it was a good idea to book ahead for lunch or dinner. We had a great few days and would definitely return. The hotel has its own large car park for €6 a day, with electric car charging spaces. Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a cosy, authentic old building, and although our room was on the top floor, four floors up a spiral staircase, this is clearly mentioned on the website. The room was neat and clean, with a very good bed, reliable heating and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower. Breakfast wasn’t a huge spread, but there were enough choices and everything was fresh. Sometimes less is better.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived at Le Corrone. The reception and whole team were genuinely kind, warm and attentive, and our suite was spotless, cosy and beautifully arranged. We really did feel like princesses. When we chose to add another night, they handled it with ease and generosity. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh, high-quality options, and the parking was perfectly placed and convenient. Le Corrone is a gem in Riquewihr, and we can’t wait to come back.

We had breakfast at the hotel and were glad we did. It was delicious, served in a beautiful setting. The standard room keeps its old-world charm and works well for two people staying one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is a perfect starting point for sightseeing.
