We got just one set of keys when we checked in because the agency had lost the second one. They also gave us no details at checkout about when or how the deposit would be returned. It did eventually come back when the hold on the credit card was released, but that took a month after we left. They should explain these important things. The agency doesn’t answer calls or emails, and they don’t speak English. They use Google Translate to communicate, which is hard to understand in an area with so many international visitors. I don’t recommend them.

The apartment was filthy when we arrived, and they hadn’t done an inventory. The curtains were all ripped and no longer kept the light out, the mattress protectors were shredded, dust covered the lampshades, and the worn carpet was clearly dirty. There was an electrical outlet loose on the floor with wires exposed. The toaster was dangerous, easy to get burned on and potentially a fire hazard, and the vacuum cleaner didn’t work. Communication with this agency was a serious problem. Constellimmo was recently bought out, and things are definitely different now. The worst rental agency I’ve dealt with. They collect taxes behind the owners’ backs, rent apartments secretly without telling the owner during periods when they’re supposed to be empty, and don’t do move-out inspections. That’s only the start. Avoid them completely!

As a tenant or landlord, I’d strongly advise staying away from this agency. I’m sure there are much more honest and capable people in the business. The landlord pays them to handle check-in and check-out inspections. They didn’t do the move-in inspection, then arranged a move-out appointment and never showed up or contacted us. After we’d waited nearly an hour, we went to the office to return the keys and get our deposit. An employee repeatedly lied to our faces, claiming they had attended the appointment. When we called out this shameful behavior, with four or five other tenants waiting behind us, another employee barely listened and plainly didn’t care.
