La Maison d'Antoine

The owners welcomed us with such kindness and discretion. The house is large and tastefully decorated, and our room was spacious, clean, and had all the comforts we needed. We enjoyed the generous breakfast in the lovely garden, along with the peace and quiet. Thank you both again for your hospitality.

We had a large, lovely room as a family of three, with an en-suite bathroom and a separate bedroom for our child. The shaded garden was peaceful and relaxing, and the guesthouse has been renovated with real taste. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, with great suggestions for seeing the town and nearby area. Breakfast was generous and made with fresh local ingredients, and dinner featured local specialties. They’ve thought of everything for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend it.

We couldn’t enjoy the garden because of the weather, though it must be a treat in warmer months. Inside, the rooms were spacious and spotless, and our hosts made us feel like family in their beautifully decorated home. Breakfast came on lovely tableware, with fresh fruit and homemade pastries, and Céline prepared an excellent meal too. A truly lovely place for anyone who appreciates an authentic bed and breakfast 😊

The town of Rivesaltes could use some improvement, though I hope the renovations underway will bring it back to life. The guesthouse itself deserves every one of its five stars, and maybe a sixth if that were possible. We stopped here on the way to our holiday destination, and the house felt welcoming as soon as we opened the heavy front door. The rooms were spacious, air-conditioned, well kept, and quiet. There’s a magical garden, and the hosts are friendly, charming, attentive, and discreet. Remember to book meals by the morning at the latest. Céline needs time to shop. Breakfast was a delight, with homemade jams, regional pastries, and apricot tart. Thanks for such a restful break before the long drive. I highly recommend this guesthouse.
