The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the family room was spacious, spotless, and nicely decorated. Claire greeted us so warmly and took such good care of us. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it!

The owner was really kind, and the place felt like good value. There’s a bakery and Proxi supermarket in Rivière, with Leclerc supermarkets all around. St. Paul de Dax is 10-15 minutes away for shopping, and the sea at Capbreton is about half an hour by the main road. The old house has guest rooms, plus two separate cottages over 80m², with lawn and trees around the property. The train is close, but we couldn’t hear it at night with the windows open.

You feel at home here, with the refrigerator available and drinks charged at your own price. The hosts are warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the place is peaceful. Our room had everything we needed, including air conditioning, tea, coffee, a hairdryer, and a TV. The rooms are very well soundproofed, and the spa bath was lovely. Breakfast is ordered the evening before and made to order, with pastries, homemade yogurt, local honey, and homemade drinks. I’d love to come back!

We stayed as a family of five in two rooms. One room slept three, with a double bed, a single bed, and a whirlpool bath. The other was a double with a shower, steam room, and sauna. Claire, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was made to order, with plenty of local bread, pastries, and spreads, as well as homemade jams and yogurts. The rooms were bright, spacious, and clean, in a former bourgeois house renovated with taste while keeping its character. All five of us recommend it. Thanks for your hospitality, Claire.
