The warm welcome from Mr. Bastide is what I’ll remember most. He was a wonderful host, and we had a lovely conversation over breakfast while hearing about his passions. We were lucky to meet him, and we’re grateful for his kindness and hospitality. We spent a night here with friends while exploring the Loire Valley châteaux. The garden is beautifully landscaped, with lots of distinct little corners, and the setting feels idyllic. The cozy rooms have decorative pieces for sale, which makes sense since Mr. Bastide is an antique dealer. It’s a dream spot if you love beautiful objects. Breakfast was served in a magical setting, with antique tableware and incredible homemade jams. We’d be delighted to welcome you to our home in the Lot-et-Garonne region next time you’re there.

The charming owner served breakfast with us, and the welcome was very warm. The rooms fit the unusual, antique-style interior, and the garden is charming. Guest rooms are on the ground floor. A lovely bed and breakfast that left us with fond memories. We’ll come back.

At Vieux Vauvert, Mr. Bastide gave us a warm welcome. The rooms have old-world charm, while the bathrooms offer modern comfort. Breakfast was lovely, with delicious pastries and plenty of homemade jams. There’s a riverside café (guinguette) about 1 km away, where you can also take a pleasant barge trip on the Loire. Cross a nearby bridge to stroll along the sandbanks or go for a swim.

The room was a little old-fashioned, but that was part of its charm, and it was very clean. Breakfast was generous and excellent, with a great variety of homemade jams that were to die for 😀. We had a very pleasant stay and a really warm welcome. Highly recommend.
