The location is superb, and the staff were great. The hotel is comfortable, and although the rooms are old, they’re clean. It would be good to have more modern TVs so guests can stream directly, or an Android device to bring them up to date.

The owners gave us a very warm welcome, but the room looked dated, with plywood doors, and didn’t feel worth the price. Be careful: the room we received didn’t match the quality shown in the pictures. There was no air-conditioning either, which made sleeping difficult at night.

The hotel isn’t luxurious, but the decor and friendly service earned it a perfect rating from me. Our beds were comfortable and beautifully decorated when we arrived. Breakfast was well worth the €8, especially if you have a sweet tooth. My only small suggestion would be to provide toilet paper on rolls instead of in a dispenser.

The owners were nice, and breakfast tasted good, though there wasn’t any fresh fruit. The rooms are small and have an old Euro feel. It was hot during my visit, and without AC the fan wasn’t enough. Getting into a suit in that heat was a struggle. There’s no elevator either. It could still be a great place to stay when visiting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spotless and well cared for, with a great choice at breakfast. Packed lunches and evening meals are available too, and the staff were very friendly.
