This is the best café in Rodez. The welcome is friendly, the hot chocolate is amazing, and the unmodernized decor keeps an authentic feel. We highly recommend this genuine, lovely café.

It looks quite appealing from outside, but once we sat down, they asked what we wanted to drink without offering a menu. At payment, the waiter called out €10 for two draft beers, even though the door showed €4. He said that price wasn’t up to date and that the terrace had a different price. The worst part was what happened five minutes earlier: two young women tried to pay for their sodas, and the same waiter told them they were already taken care of, “on him.” It made them extremely uncomfortable, especially with a man old enough to be their father.
