I still tell people about this place, even though we stayed back in 2016. We were just talking about the B&B recently, and all the warmth we received came back to me. I really hope the same owners are still there, and I’d love to return someday. It feels like a home because it used to be a vineyard. The retired couple who own it sold the vineyard and kept the house and cellar. We tasted quite a few wines there and bought one too. On arrival, we could choose a welcome drink, red, white or rosé, but we ended up chatting and relaxing together in the living room. The hostess laughed a lot and was a great cook. Dinner was huge and delicious, with dish after dish appearing as if by magic. We were full, but couldn’t say no to her homemade dessert. The next morning, they suggested breakfast outside since the weather was so lovely. I was sad to leave. For me, travel is about the warmth and character of local people, not luxurious hotels.

We had a really nice time over our four-night stay, sharing a room with my girlfriend, and we’ll be back. Martine and Bruno took care of all the little details and are lovely people. The wine was amazing too. The location is fantastic, everything was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was stunning. Dinner was perfect, and the price for the quality couldn’t be better. Cheers!!!

The rooms were spacious and spotless, and after a cool day cycling, we were glad to warm up by the big fireplace. The sitting and dining room has such an inviting feel. Martine and Bruno made us feel at home, and they cooked us a fabulous meal. My husband and I really enjoyed staying with them.

After a long day touring the Bordeaux region, it was great to come back, have wine in the lounge, and enjoy an amazing four-course dinner without needing to drive anywhere. Martine and Bruno make you feel like family right away. The place is quiet and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner, with wine, are among the best you can find. A wonderful base for touring the region.

The room was clean, nice and quiet, and breakfast had an enormous variety and was delicious. Dinner was fantastic too, a four-course vegetarian table d'hote. Martine and Bruno are wonderful hosts who see to every need, even helping with my bike repair. This place deserves six stars if that were possible.
