The peaceful, tucked-away setting at La Chaiserie in Romeries made this feel like a little escape. We were looked after so warmly by the owners, two-legged and four-legged alike, and felt thoroughly spoiled. My husband had stayed once before, but it was my first visit. We’d happily come back, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting quiet time in the countryside. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough.
After a long day on our bikes, the tasty breakfast and friendly dogs were a lovely start, and the area is beautiful. The hosts were so kind that they even drove us into town to find dinner when we were too tired to go ourselves. A great place to rest, and very bike friendly.
Breakfast was really good, and we found the room comfortable. There were dead insects under the bathroom window, though, so it could have been cleaner. The room opens straight onto the front garden, which also means there isn’t much privacy.
The hosts were so welcoming, and I had a comfortable, peaceful stay.
The rooms were very clean, and Sabine and her family made us feel so welcome. Thanks for your hospitality!
