The rooms were a good size and comfortable, and the gentleman who seems to run the hotel was really lovely. He made us feel welcome after we'd had a car accident. Our insurance and breakdown cover arranged two nights here while the car was being checked. The location isn't great without a car, as we found out. My bigger concern is that I got food poisoning on the second night. I ate steak with chips and salad, then became extremely ill, with vomiting and bloody diarrhoea. It was the only place I'd eaten, though my husband and daughter were fine because they hadn't had the same meal. I recovered fairly quickly, but my stomach stayed delicate for over 10 days. I don't know how I managed to continue our holiday, and I wouldn't stay here again. It's a shame, since otherwise we were well looked after. Someone also threw rubbish out of their window, and it landed outside our room window.

I never got past the front desk, and this was still my worst hotel experience in France. I travel all over the country, from Normandy to Nice, the Alps to the Pyrénées and everywhere between. I booked another hotel nearby for the same price on my phone and was welcomed warmly there. The clerk wouldn't check me in before 14h00, even though it was 13h55. I didn't mind the wait itself, but he was arrogant and condescending about it, a complete a--hole. Don't bother with this hotel.

We felt we'd paid too much for the stay and won't come back. We were a couple in our 60s and paid €81 for a family room because, when we booked by phone, they said all the double and twin rooms were gone. The double room price was €63. There was also a leak in the shower pipe that sprayed water onto our clothes. Breakfast opened half an hour later than expected, at 7.30am, while quite a few people had been waiting since 7.00am. The meal was very good, though the bill had a €15.00 overcharge that we spotted after returning to our room. We believe it was an honest mistake; they apologised and returned the difference in cash. Still, they could have offered a small reduction on the room as a goodwill gesture. Not a great experience overall.

I stayed for about 2 weeks and was really pleased with the place. The rooms are standard, nice and clean, and the air conditioning is brand new. On hot summer days you could even turn your room into an igloo with it. Speaking as a worker and traveler, I found the staff very helpful, understanding, gentle, and so patient.
