B&B HOTEL FREJUS Roquebrune

We ended up here unexpectedly when our car broke down, and the location right next to the service shop worked really well for us. For a planned holiday, though, I wouldn't choose it. It seems more like a place to stop and rest during a long drive than somewhere to spend a vacation.

The beds were pretty comfortable and the rooms had decent furnishings, but the bathroom shower area was really dirty. The air conditioning was so filthy that it could cause health problems, and things around the place were broken. One person's door handle came off while they were trying to open it, and the bathroom handle spins all the way around, so the door doesn't close. The manager was mean, lol. The breakfast wasn't that bad and the food tasted good, though there wasn't much variety. It's sad that one person seems to be doing all the hotel jobs, making and restocking food and working reception, while the manager, who isn't a worker, was really mad and mean for no reason. I'm sure you can find a better hotel than this.

The rooms were nasty and dated, with old doors. They need fresh paint, new carpeting, and replacement doors.

The whole hotel felt pretty run down, and our room wasn't clean and definitely smelled of smoke. There was so much mould that, even with the window open, we started having breathing problems after just two minutes inside. The receptionist seemed to understand, but the boss didn't. At least we got our money back after two and a half months. It wasn't worth a penny, especially not €170 a night. Visited 19 August 2022.
