The pool was big and very clean, and the restaurant was in good shape. The campsite’s location was lovely, but our mobile home wasn’t fully clean when we arrived. We paid a lot for Wi-Fi that was either slow or didn’t work at all, and the shower drain was blocked so the water wouldn’t run away.

We stayed in a Green Chalet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The campsite has plenty of shade, a good bar and restaurant, and entertainment for children. The pool is nice for both adults and kids, but men have to wear tight Lycra swimwear, so come prepared. We hired bedding for €12 per person because we hadn’t brought any. There’s a little shop, though the nearby supermarkets meant we didn’t need it much. We did buy fresh bread every morning. We’d return.

We stayed five nights and used the campsite as a base to explore the area. It’s well laid out, with lots of shade, and the receptionists were friendly and spoke English. We rented a mobile home through joy casa via booking.com. There are several agencies that rent them out. Our joy casa host was very attentive, and we loved the outside kitchen. The pool area was nice, with a children’s pool and a couple of water slides. Men have to wear trunks or tight shorts, and footwear isn’t allowed around the pool. We didn’t try the restaurant, but the menu looked reasonably priced. There’s also a small shop with essentials, and a programme of entertainment, though we didn’t take part. Lidl is five minutes away by car, and a few restaurants and fast food places are within a ten minute drive. Monaco, Nice and Saint Tropez are under an hour away, and it’s 20 minutes to Saint Raphaël and its lovely beach. The one issue was that cars aren’t allowed on site after 22:00 and have to be left in the outside car park. We told staff when we arrived that we had a disabled guest, but nobody explained that we needed a special key for the disabled entrance after 22:00. When we returned late one night, the guard didn’t have the key, so we had to get a wheelchair up steps. I’d suggest the guard be given a key for that entrance. Wi-Fi is paid, and you need a card costing €15 per person or device per week. We’d stay again if we’re back in the area.

The layout is cozy and beautiful, and the pool was really clean with a well thought out entry system. The location is great too, close to Monaco, Cannes, Nice, Sainte Maxime and Saint-Tropez. I had a lot of fun there with my family and friends during our last vacation, from 26 April to 4 May, though a few things could be better. We didn’t buy Wi-Fi because €15 a week felt far too expensive. They say the pool is heated, but it either wasn’t heated or was done very poorly. Luckily it was warm enough outside that the sun warmed the water.

We went in September, when the site was fairly quiet. Most pitches sit under trees, and our Safari tent felt very luxurious, with a shower, toilet, three ring hob, aircon and memory foam beds. To enter the pool you had to take a mandatory shower, which couldn’t be avoided. It was odd that sun tan lotion and drinks weren’t allowed in the pool area. The shop has most essentials and freshly baked bread, and the restaurant was good.
