The facilities are showing their age, with broken kitchen items, no scissors or bottle opener, and limescale all over the shower. We also paid extra for internet that never worked anywhere in the residence, while mobile coverage was poor. When things went wrong, neither the management in Bordeaux nor the local maintenance person was available to help, and refunds for services we didn't receive weren't processed.

We were left trying to sort out a tax bill for an apartment we had never used, and it took almost two hours of insisting before we could pay only what we actually owed. Nadia, the manager, was convinced we were trying to scam her and refused to speak with us on the phone, even though we stayed calm and polite. She threatened to call the police, and her staff seemed helpless as she raised her voice and hung up on us. We were also told we were somehow “closely connected” to the neighbors whose stay the bill belonged to. The mix-up came from our keys being swapped with those for another apartment. That other stay was three weeks, so its tourist tax was much higher than the one-week tax due for our own stay. We discovered this when we went to pay on Saturday, our last day. We had arrived Sunday and picked up keys from mailboxes marked with our surnames because no one was on site. On Monday a technician told us to come back Thursday to meet the manager, but she was absent then and again on Friday. In the end, we paid the tax for our own accommodation and week. We'd come in August for a short family break, hoping to relax, but the accommodation was extremely dirty when we arrived and we had to clean it ourselves despite having paid for cleaning in advance. The whole stay was far more stressful than restful. It's a shame a group this size can't train capable managers. Nadia needs to learn basic respect and manners, and the scene made the group look ridiculous. I can't recommend staying here unless you have no intention of relaxing.

The location is pleasant, the house idea is appealing, and the staff we met were nice and understanding. The place was somewhat dirty, some equipment didn't work, and the booking software could use work. But Nadia, the site manager, ruined our holiday. She was never around and seemed incompetent at her job. I don't know how she got promoted, but it wasn't for her skills. There were stains on the living room floor, though even those seemed minor beside the huge mess she was.

We loved the quiet garden looking out over the golf course, along with the views toward the Esterel mountains and Bay of Saint-Raphaël. The staff made us feel very welcome. We stayed for a week in September 2024, and the cleanliness and high standard of the villas stood out. There are just 18, each with a garage, spacious bedrooms and living space, and thoughtful furnishings and layout. We'd gladly recommend it.
