I liked staying here and would come back if I needed to. I was looking for something cheap and reasonable, and it suited me. I was there as a young adult with my girlfriend at the time. The price seemed great, and breakfast was included, though it was just bread and tea. The American in me had expected something else, but I was on a budget and made the best of it. I wanted to stay among real Parisians, and that’s what I got. There were some rough parts, but as someone from a city and a tall Black man, it didn’t bother me. A Carafour was down the street, so I could get to the mall or supermarket anytime for clothes, food, or whatever else I needed. There was a movie theater not far away, too.

The beds were okay, but the bathrooms were very dirty. I even got a fungal infection on my feet from the shower. My non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke too. But it is Europe. I’d look for somewhere else if I were you.

For the price, the hotel is okay. It’s a bad location, though, really far from the center, and the area feels a little dangerous.
