The garden seating area worked well for a picnic, and St. Amand les Eaux is only a short drive away for restaurants. There isn't much right nearby, though you can take pleasant walks on quiet country lanes. We had plenty of off-road parking and could use the lovely shared spaces indoors and out. The coffee machine in the main dining area was free and available all day. Our bedroom was large and comfortable, with an excellent shower room. After a tasty breakfast of homemade apple juice, apple puree, preserves, bread and croissants, the very welcoming owner unexpectedly showed us around the dairy farm and shared lots of information. There were no savoury breakfast options.
