Au Bunker 67

My husband and I are still thinking about this place. The setting is magnificent, the breakfast was excellent, and everything felt carefully thought through and spotlessly clean. Fabien and his wife were incredibly kind. Such a unique stay, and I highly recommend it.

The peaceful location has a lovely view of the Schwarzwald. Everything was very well cared for and clean, and they serve a great breakfast that you can enjoy outside when the weather is good.

The host was friendly and helpful, and brought a generous breakfast made with high quality ingredients to the apartment at the time we agreed on. He prepared it to our wishes. Parking right beside the accommodation felt safe, and the small village around it was quiet, with a view of nature. We only stayed one night, but the mix of a historic war bunker and modern comfort made a lasting impression. The renovation works really well. It isn't spacious, though the kitchenette was enough for small meals, and the coffee machine came with unlimited capsules. The place has air conditioning, and you can also air it through the windows. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was adequate, the equipment felt like a 3+ hotel, and cleanliness was absolute. The little chairs and table indoors weren't ideal, but there isn't room for another arrangement. Unfortunately it rained, so we couldn't enjoy the lovely outdoor seating. We'd highly recommend staying here and hope to come back for longer.

We lacked for nothing here. Breakfast had everything a foodie could want, including eggs from the happy free range chickens we sometimes saw running around 😋. The host was genuinely lovely and friendly, and gave us some great excursion tips. It's a beautifully furnished bunker in a dreamy, completely peaceful spot with a stunning view. We found it so easy to unwind. We'll definitely be back. Thanks so much again!!
