Appart'HomeCity - Rouen Ile Lacroix Seine

The apartment was only partly clean, with lots of pet hair on the sofa, and the whole stay in Rouen was a terrible experience. An unexpected emergency meant we had to leave a day early. The gentleman first refused to let us do that, then tried to charge us an extra fee. The concierge staff were very kind and had agreed to the date change, but he wouldn't let them come over, so we arranged with them, while they were clearly embarrassed, to leave the key in the box. We told the concierge service when we arrived that we'd be leaving early. They agreed verbally and later confirmed it by text, without mentioning extra charges. We'd already paid nearly €100 for that night, so the additional €15 he then asked for had already been covered. I know he's a professional, and I expected the apartment to be spotless, but it was far from that. I have photos. The concierge team is perfectly capable of handling customer relations, so he should let them do it. Everyone has their strengths. A reply to a Google review won't manage an online reputation; making customers satisfied will.
