They’re renovating the station, so I expect things may get better. For now, though, some platforms still have no elevator access, which leaves people with pushchairs or heavy bags stuck.

There was a comfortable spot inside to sit and catch up on work. I took the train to Dieppe on a Monday morning, and it was fairly quiet. The station is small, clean, and easy to get around; buying a ticket was straightforward, and the helpful staff spoke English, which was a bonus.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the station itself is fairly large with a supermarket inside.

The historic center has lots of monuments, and the main area feels very welcoming to tourists.
