At Gîte de la Liberté, you feel at home. It’s a place in Alsace that deserves more attention, with thoughtful comforts and the kind of cleanliness that matters. Fanny, the owner, takes great care of the property, and there’s a binder full of ideas for exploring around Rouffach. The accommodation has a typical Alsatian style and everything I’d expect from a rental. I have no complaints at all. Highly recommended, and thank you to the owners.

The hosts are lovely, welcoming, and helpful, and the cottage is fully equipped with shops close by. It’s peaceful, with all the charm of a traditional Alsatian half-timbered house. I highly recommend it.

Rouffach makes a great base for trips through the wine region and to Strasbourg, Freiburg, Europa-Park, and elsewhere. In the village, shops are close at hand and the bakery is about 100m away. Parking is free and convenient. The holiday home is in a beautiful historic village center, well maintained and clean, and comes with modern amenities. The owner is so lovely. Highly recommended, and thank you, Fanny.

We had a magical holiday season, and we’d absolutely recommend this exemplary cottage. The location made it easy to explore the region, visit the magnificent Christmas markets in nearby villages, and enjoy Alsatian food and the friendliness of the local people and merchants. Everything about the cottage was more than perfect: a warm welcome, comfort, equipment, decor, and cleanliness, plus lots of information about Rouffach and its surroundings. The hosts were kind and friendly. Thank you, Fanny and Gabin, for being so genuine and generous. We’ll certainly come back.

The gîte is spacious and impeccably clean and hygienic. It’s in the center of Rouffach, on a small square at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there’s no traffic and parking is easy. Local shops are just a three-minute walk away, including a small supermarket, bakery, newsagent/tobacconist, and pharmacy; Intermarché is five minutes away by car. Fanny and Gabin will do everything they can to make sure you have a great stay and give you a warm welcome. Thank you both for all your help.
