The breakfast was terrible, and my experience with the hotel was worse. A mirror fell, and they accused me and my roommate of "malicious acts" and blackmailed us and my tour operator. Their only evidence was a photo of cardboard detached from the back of the mirror, along with unbelievable stories and rumors about my behavior. They had already received the money, so the incident seems settled. To me, this shows they neglect safety measures. You might expect falling mirrors, contaminated towels or fungus in the bathrooms. They also seem ready to accuse guests when something breaks through their own negligence, as with the insecurely placed mirror. I highly recommend avoiding this place.

On a very stormy night I made a spontaneous stop here, and reception was friendly. I liked the cosy American motel feel. The room was warm, quiet, clean and functional, and it was nice to have a bathtub. A hook or string on the plug would make it easier to pull out after a bath. I skipped breakfast, but appreciated having a water heater with coffee and tea bags in the room.

Booked at the last minute and didn't expect much, but the room was great for a short stay. Fairly modern, and we slept well in the beds. The mirror by the door was dirty, but otherwise it was a good room.

The room was cold, dirty and had a broken heater. When I told the receptionist, they advised closing both entrance doors to make it warmer. We decided to move to another hotel, but were still charged for the stay and the "food". We arrived at 9:30 p.m. and the restaurant was already closed. They offered us supper leftovers: three pieces of cheese, two pieces of baguette, a few salads and nothing hot. The restaurant was terribly cold too, and I had to put on my jacket. Cheap-motel quality at prices that don't fit.

The bathroom deserves the one star. The room was cold, the WiFi password wasn't in it, and the staff at the desk spoke only French. Nearly €70, plus some strange payment and what they called taxes, and there was no food. Find a better hotel for that money. HOWGH!
