Chambres d' Hôtes Royan

I was given lots of kind tips for exploring the city. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. A really pleasant stay, everything was perfect. Pure bliss.

The location is excellent, a stone’s throw from the market, town center, and beaches, and there’s a provided parking lot. The house is beautifully decorated, with a pleasant room and courtesy tray, plus a very spacious bathroom. Breakfast was generous, with croissants, pain au chocolat, bread, cereal, orange juice, yogurt, and more. The host is friendly and energetic, and clearly loves her city. We’ll definitely return.

Royan is a big place, so don’t hesitate to look elsewhere. We found the host unwelcoming because we had a child, even though our reservation was for two adults and one child. We had to pay extra for the little one's mattress, without meals or breakfast. Parking is a problem too, with no spaces and a dead end, so come in a smart car if you want to park. After we rated the stay 6/10, I got a text the next day that I can’t publish because of the language used. Avoid!

Anne, the owner, is adorable and makes you feel at ease. The house is full of charm and close to all amenities, and the room was just right, with plenty of space and great bedding. Breakfasts were generous. Very good value for money.
