We stopped here for the night on our way from the UK to Italy, a couple of hours' drive from Calais. It was easy to find and suited us perfectly. Annie and Pascal were lovely hosts. We had a glorious, relaxed evening in the garden, eating barbecue, drinking wine and beer, and chatting with other guests. I'd highly recommend a stop here. Meals, drinks, and other extras need to be paid for in cash, but there are cashpoints easily accessible in Roye.

Annie and Pascal were so friendly, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. They opened the pool and put on a great BBQ, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Breakfast was served outside with local products, a lovely touch. It felt like home away from home.

The host got angry and seemed annoyed that our children were in the pool. Apparently there are various pool rules. Our kids are old enough and licensed swimmers, so we felt they could swim without supervision, but the host disagreed. A misunderstanding is understandable, but paying guests shouldn't be left with a bad experience because the host is grumpy or angry.

The atmosphere was fantastic, 10/10. The hosts were lovely, the food was really good, and both the rooms and swimming pool were nice. Such a great place, well worth a visit.

We had a quiet, comfortable room and a very good breakfast. The hosts were wonderful and friendly. We'll be back.
