The food at the hotel restaurant was good, and the service there was too. The rest was awful. Reception handled things badly, and they charged a room rate different from the one we'd agreed. We argued and left, then got a call admitting we were right and promising a refund. It took several reminder emails and nearly TWELVE MONTHS to get it. I won't be back.

We make this a regular lunch stop on the way further into France. The food is consistently good and well priced, and it's nearly always busy, so booking makes sense. It also seems to be open most of the time, even on public holidays.

On our first night in France we had a cheerful dinner here. I ordered a salad with a Flemish dish of pressed cold meat. I couldn't pronounce its name, but it tasted good.

We stayed overnight while travelling with our two young children. The room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were lovely and attentive, and it was good value.

The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the staff were really friendly.
