Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with local pastries, homemade jam, yoghurt and fruit salad. The rooms were always clean and nicely presented, though there was no air conditioning. The house is beautiful and peaceful, filled with antiques from all over the world. Shelagh and Mike were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and always happy to help or recommend lovely local restaurants. I stayed at La Cour Carree for four wonderful nights in July. I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it as a base for exploring this stunning region. Thank you both (:

The decor is fabulous, Shelagh and Michael are absolutely lovely, and breakfast was wonderful. La Cour Carree is a truly special place to stay, so don't hesitate to book.

Sheilagh and Michael make you feel completely at ease, and they really enjoy hosting people with bicycles, which we appreciated. Breakfast was wonderful, served elegantly on sophisticated crockery. Just one word: FANTASTIC!

The decor is breathtaking, and the beautiful patio is such a peaceful place to have breakfast. Everything seems arranged to make guests happy, and the managers' kindness feels sincere. Breakfast was exquisite, especially the carefully prepared fruit salad, divine croissants, jams and, of course, the honey! 😇🤗
