The place itself is lovely, but the service was very bad. Our apartment wasn't clean; someone was sent to clean it only after we complained. We had paid extra for bedsheets and towels, but neither was provided at first. The sheets arrived after we complained, while the towels took a day and two complaints. The reservation process is tricky. The advertised apartments show a nice balcony, but we were given one with an ugly terrace, apparently the option we had paid for. When we weren't happy with the service and asked about getting our money back, Monsieur le Directeur told us to contact the VVF Call Center. There, we were asked to provide more details and told an answer could take up to 60 days.

The scenery is beautiful, and it's a great base for exploring the area. There's a pool, fitness facilities, and everything you need. It's basic rather than fancy. Remember to bring your own towels!

The best part is the nature around here, with plenty of beautiful walks through the forests for all levels. By car, you can also reach pretty villages around Alsace, Lorraine, and the Vosges, including some in wine country. It isn't very touristy, though a few places are busier than others. We've been coming for the past few years. The accommodation is good: small self-catering houses, plus some larger, much more comfortable houses that sleep six. There aren't any services, but the village is just five minutes down the hill and has everything you need to buy. There's also a very nice swimming pool on the premises.

The surroundings are good, and the house is okay. Just be aware there are no basic supplies, like toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, salt, or pepper. Since arrival is on Saturday, if you don't bring those things, the local store Coccinel can help, but at high prices.

Great location, nice houses, and good facilities, including a pool table, table tennis, and several small playgrounds. The only thing I missed was WiFi in the houses; it was available only at reception.
