La Fontaine de Resnel

The grounds are huge and beautifully cared for, with plenty of lovely places to sit, relax, or eat. It really feels like paradise. Our spacious room had a sitting area and lots of storage, and the chalet was a nice extra, with what we needed for cooking and a refrigerator. Breakfast had fresh fruit salad, pastries, several kinds of bread, cheese, and homemade yogurt. We also had some really nice conversations with Laurent. He shared his knowledge and love of the region, and gave us helpful ideas for walks and places to visit based on our interests, the tides, and the weather. Such a lovely host and encounter. We were impressed by both the service and the welcome. Everything was perfect, from the peaceful setting to the rooms and breakfast. A big thank you, and see you soon!

Laurent made us feel very welcome and took great care of us. His advice about outings and places to see, along with what he told us about the region, was excellent. The garden is peaceful and beautiful, and the rooms are nicely decorated and well equipped. Breakfast featured delicious local and homemade food. The property is near a beautiful beach, and it's a lovely place to relax, recharge, and explore the area. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

Breakfast was a treat, with little homemade goodies each day, fresh from the garden. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, and the gîte is just a short walk from the beach, handy for popping back and forth. From the parking area, you wouldn't guess what a beautiful, tucked-away setting is waiting inside. The garden was a delight, and Laurent clearly loves his work and the region. We spent four very pleasant nights in a part of the region we hadn't known before. The spacious, beautiful rooms and fantastic breakfast made the stay all the better. Laurent and his wife were attentive and did everything they could to help us enjoy our time, including pointing us toward local sights. The garden is a little gem for anyone who loves gardens, and breakfast is hearty and generous. I highly recommend this place.
