Les Arbousiers

We highly recommend it, and the price was fair. The house has a huge garden, a pool, and a shared living room, and it’s in a wonderfully quiet spot. Our room was excellent, and the hostess was very friendly. Breakfast was French style, with delicious coffee, crepes, and other sweet treats.

We booked all six rooms in the house for our daughter’s wedding and found the property lovely, peaceful, and well cared for. Monique and the other owners are charming. Monique is especially interesting, with a deep connection to nature. Breakfast was delicious and just right. We highly recommend this restful place surrounded by nature.

Watching the swallows and taking a nighttime walk were the highlights of our stay. On the walk, we saw a magically blue celestial object and the ISS. The room was spacious, and it was absolutely peaceful and quiet. Monique and her husband gave us a warm welcome, and the breakfasts and meals were generous. The chocolate cake was incredible. Don’t miss this wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. Thank you for everything, Monique. We’ll be back.

We spent a wonderful week here as a family, staying in all five bedrooms at Monique and her husband’s house. We had some great times together in the place. The house has comfortable, fairly spacious rooms and common areas, with a huge property and a lovely pool area. We ate there on a few evenings, and Monique served us typical Landes dishes. Her cooking was honest and straightforward. Fiber optics were being installed during our stay, and the internet connection was almost nonexistent.
