There was a lot of dust, and we received no welcome at all because the owners weren't there. From other guests' comments, this seems to happen often. We stay at B&Bs regularly, but have never found one this precarious in terms of hygiene. That doesn't take away from the village's charm, but they shouldn't take advantage of mass tourism. The room itself was uncomfortable in several ways. The toilet was in a cramped cabin in the middle of the room, facing the bed. The door couldn't be shut because your feet stuck out. It had a macerator pump, so used toilet paper couldn't go in the bowl and had to be put in a bin beside the seat. The space had no direct ventilation. The shower also seemed made for very small people, though that bothered me less.
