La Collégiale - Etablissement de charme

At 5:30 PM we still had no entry code, even though it was meant to arrive at 3. When we called, the reception was unpleasant. The room was uncomfortable in several ways: street noise came straight through, the windows barely opened and the shutters wouldn't shut, the shower had almost no pressure, and the towels smelled damp. We called again about the problems and were told, “If you're not happy, go sleep somewhere else.” That was at 8:15 PM. A terrible experience. Avoid this place.

Clean and very good value. Communication was excellent from booking right through to departure. The window was sealed shut, and I would have preferred a fitted sheet since the sheet kept coming off the mattress.

For four people, having the toilet in the bathroom with no separation was really impractical. The sink was cramped against the shower wall, and the shower spray lacked pressure. In the bedroom, the bed was comfortable, though a fitted sheet would work better. The heating couldn't be adjusted, got too hot, and came on at night with noise and a blue light. The Wi-Fi connection was poor, there was no kettle, coffee, or tea, and storage was limited, with no cupboard, small table, or chairs for anyone staying several days. The service doesn't match the price.

Thanks to Baptiste and Violeta for such an easy welcome. Everything is handled digitally, nicely done. The room was spacious, and the price was very affordable.
