La Maison de Sophie is our little bit of paradise every time we come to Beauval Zoo for work. It's easily the best guesthouse in the area, with the best host. The owner is exceptionally kind, replies quickly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. He was very accommodating, and there was even a small welcome pack of local biscuits waiting when we arrived. It's just a stone's throw from the zoo entrance, and the house is spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, especially for little kids: a high chair, bed rail, lots of toys, adult bikes, and equipment for taking a child along. Parking was easy on the street right outside the entrance. We can't wait to return and recommend it 1000%!

We were five, and the cottage was laid out really well. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged, and our six-year-old had what he needed to have a great time. The owner was kind and helpful, and gave us a perfect welcome. Beauval Zoo was only a few kilometers away. We'll definitely come back.
