Les Chambres Lune

We stayed one night in the Pluton suite and would gladly come back. It was just five minutes from Beauval Zoo and beside the town center, and self check-in made our arrival easy. The suite had lots of space, including a sitting area and a very large bedroom, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was well insulated, with a courtyard terrace, heating, and fans. The owners had also left cold water, Tagada strawberries, and cakes for us. Highly recommend this gîte.

The apartment was basic and the furniture showed its age, though everything was clean and it was good value. It was poorly soundproofed, so we could clearly hear the street and neighbors. Getting in was easy, with clear instructions for self check-in, though there are a few steps down to reach it. Inside, there’s a large living room with a table and chairs, a double bed, and a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and kettle. A separate room has a single bed and travel cot, and the third room has the shower and toilet. The sweets, biscuits, and beers were a nice touch.

We had easy parking near the square, and the terrace was great for eating outside. The room was very comfortable. It was thoughtful to have the crib ready when we arrived, and there was a fan for the warm nights. A kettle and microwave were also provided.

After a full day walking around the zoo, the treats, cakes, and drinks were a nice little extra. We had a great night in one of the Lune rooms. It was spacious and clean, with direct access to a terrace and a comfortable shower. Picking up the keys from the lockbox was really easy. The rooms are close to the center of Saint Aignan and right on the road to Zoo de Beauval.
