The room setup was the main drawback for us. The shower and toilet being in the same room as the bedroom felt too close, and for everyone's privacy we would have preferred them in a separate room. We also wished the pool stayed open until 10 pm in the Ardèche heat. Paying through the app on departure felt like unnecessary pressure. We had already told them about our plans that day and when we’d be returning to our home region, and would have preferred to pay our host directly by check or cash, as we have at many other Airbnbs. We’re far from dishonest people. There was plenty we liked: the accommodation was pleasant, quiet, and well located in the hills above La Baume. The living room was spacious and stayed fairly cool, and the private saltwater pool was a real bonus compared with chlorine. Breakfast was hearty and plentiful, though adding some fruit to the orange juice could have balanced it out.

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and breakfast on their covered terrace came with a breathtaking view. It was generous too. The garden and pool are lovely for spending time outside, and the views are superb. Our room was spacious, bright, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Having a private terrace felt like a real luxury. The location is great for walks, and my first visit to the Ardèche completely won me over. I’d happily come back to both the region and this bed and breakfast.

We were so comfortable in the spacious room, and the welcome was really warm. Breakfast was generous, with homemade brioche and cakes that were simple but delicious. The hosts’ helpful advice made for a lovely, peaceful stay. In this sweltering heat, the unheated pool was pure bliss. Thanks so much, I highly recommend it!

The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the peaceful setting with its view gave us a chance to recharge. Our bright, spacious room was practical too, with things like a coffee maker, mini-fridge, and TV, and the private terrace was a big bonus. It’s well placed for walks and other leisure activities. A lovely spot to relax and unwind.

Breakfast out on the terrace was such a treat, and we loved the pool and wooded grounds too. Our weekend at Isa's villa was relaxing and restorative. There are beautiful little villages nearby in the Ardèche, plus lots of activities for families. Nothing but good things to say!
