That big chalet-style living room makes the place feel welcoming even when the weather keeps everyone inside. It’s set up really well for a group: a huge dormitory alongside smaller bedrooms, three bathrooms and four toilets, plus gigantic pots for cooking family meals. There are two big farmhouse tables, a giant terrace, and quieter corners out in nature when you want some time to yourself. A great cottage for enjoying a weekend with friends.
We slept in the caravan, and the rain tapping on its roof was better than Mozart at lulling us to sleep. It was a lovely, peaceful night. The place is quiet, with beautiful scenery and plenty of room. The kitchen is large and has a piano… A great spot for a family get-together or birthday celebration.
The owners could be a bit more discreet after dark, which was a shame. By day, though, this is a peaceful, secluded spot, lovely for meditating, with a fantastic view of the Monts du Lyonnais. A charming cottage.
Our hostess makes delicious ice cream herself, so a big thank you to her. The cottage is lovely too, with a beautiful view across the countryside.
The hostess can explain how to leave your vehicle at "Confluence" and take the "Vaporetto" into the city center after a riverside walk if you want to visit Lyon. As for the stay itself, the place is beautiful and peaceful, and the welcome was super friendly and relaxed. We had a pretty chalet with clean, spacious, nicely decorated rooms. Breakfast was generous, with homemade jams, and the meals were good, well-cooked, and served in full plates. There was even a little aperitif under the trees before dinner. Great stay.
