Villa hotel

This was an absolute nightmare. I called ahead specifically to check my reservation, and they confirmed it. I also gave them my expected arrival time, 21-22:00. When we got there, they said the hotel was fully booked and they'd given our room to someone else, even though our booking had been confirmed. They sent us to a nearby hotel, saying it would cost only 10€ more, but it was actually 30€ more. This place doesn't deserve a star or to be operating as a hotel.

I first used this clean, comfortable little hotel as a halfway stop between Calais and Lake Annecy. It was the best value around, with a good breakfast and a welcoming host, so I stayed again on the return trip. There's also a nice restaurant about a ten minute walk away that gives a 15% discount if you show your room key. I'd definitely come back.

The rooms were very clean and the staff were great. Breakfast had a good range of bread, juice, fruit, and coffee. It's about 5km from the train station and 2-3 km from the UTT. This is a decent budget hotel, and the countryside neighborhood makes it feel more relaxing. Take a walk as the sun is going down for an awesome view.

We stayed last night, 26th May 2017, in a quaint family room. Our four-year-old loved having his own little section. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was lovely, with fresh bread, pastries, fruit, and meats. Thank you for your hospitality. The Dawson Family.
