We’ve stayed here more than once, and it’s a lovely family-run winery and B&B with a warm welcome. The picturesque vineyard setting makes for a romantic getaway, but it also works well for families with children. Blaye is just a short drive away.

We had such a lovely stay in this characterful house. It was just right for a hen party in early April. The elegant, spacious bathrooms and quality bedding were great, and the heated indoor pool was available any time of day. We were warmly welcomed, enjoyed a yoga class in the garden, and had a delicious meal delivered to the house. Such a peaceful haven without needing to go into Bordeaux. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay at Maison de Jean, and Caroline and Yann made it even better by taking such good care of everyone. Visiting Château Haut Bourcier while we were there was an easy choice, and we enjoyed the tasting so much that it carried on into dinner! The place is magnificent, and we’ll definitely return. We had a wonderful time at Maison de Jean while in town for the Blaye Wine Festival. The house was incredible, spacious, spotless, and well equipped. Breakfast was generous and varied, and the bedding was very comfortable. Huge thanks to Caroline and Nanny for being so kind and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!
