It's a beautiful part of the world, and we enjoyed our short stay in the fairly wild garden, across from a field of horses. Finding the place wasn't easy. Our large room felt a bit dated and dusty, and could have been cleaner. The bathroom was large and across the hallway, but it wasn't shared. It was rather chilly too, unless the weather happens to be kind. The meals were the highlight. Breakfast was basic, with croissants, yoghurt, fruit, juice, and coffee or tea in a thermos. The owner came in early, then left to take his kids to school, I think. Dinner was something else: a small menu that changed each day based on what was fresh at the market and what he felt like cooking. It was served in a spectacular, delicious cordon bleu style, and was exceptional value. He runs the place single handedly, and is a delightful man who cooks like a masterchef. He does have one night off, which can be a problem if you don't know in advance, since there are very few local places to eat.

The owner was really nice, and I had a very good experience here. Breakfast was simple and tasty, and the price was very good for what you get. I've heard the food is delicious, so I'll give it a try next time.

A real culinary discovery. We only had dinner there, and it was fantastic, with ingredients that tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The welcome was wonderful and the service top-notch. I highly recommend it.

A comfortable, peaceful place to stay, and I recommend it to anyone who likes calm and simplicity. The meal was excellent, made with local produce and refined regional cooking, all at unbeatable value.

Fresh ingredients and local produce at breakfast, along with excellent food at a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed, and it's a great find we've already recommended to others.
