L'Aubinoise

A lovely couple runs the place, and breakfast is lovely too. They offer a good range of local produce, including bread made with flour from wheat the baker grows himself.

Sylvie and her husband greeted us when we arrived and were right on the mark with their hospitality. Sylvie even let me use her iron for the dress I was going to wear to a wedding. She made the whole visit feel like seeing old friends. She's such a warm, friendly person, and we hope we get to see her again. The place is right in the middle of town. There's street parking outside the gate, though you can also park inside the premises. It's extremely clean and spacious, with thoughtful decor and furniture that fits perfectly. Sylvie has a sophisticated eye for decorating without making things feel overloaded. Breakfast was generous and delicious. We didn't get to enjoy the garden, but it looked like a lovely spot to gather with friends for an evening of talking and laughing. Thank you, Sylvie, for having us!

The mattresses were super comfortable, which is lovely to find in a gîte. The hosts are kind and welcoming, and breakfast was excellent and very generous. It's a great place, tastefully decorated. Great people, well done to them!

We only stayed one night, though I wish we'd had a few more days. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was excellent with a nice variety. The children especially loved the homemade apple juice.
