Villas La Foret D'armotte

Villa 4 had everything we could want for a great week: four en-suite bedrooms, aircon, a TV, a lovely pool, and a fantastic hot tub. The sports facilities were good too, with a tennis court, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, and all the equipment provided. Nearby, there's golf and horse-riding. St Palais and Vaux are welcoming little towns with plenty of lovely beaches, bars, and restaurants. Ile de Re is beautiful too, a bit further away. We won't be long before we come back.

We stayed in villa number 1 in July 2022, a family group of 9 people. The layout worked well, with several bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone had some privacy. It was equipped for cooking and laundry, and the villa had a tennis court. The heated pool had a moving walkway, which felt reassuring with children, and there was an optional jacuzzi. The sea, shops, and restaurants were about 10 minutes away by car. For the accommodation price and cleaning fee, the cleaning felt superficial: there was lots of dust under furniture and inside cupboards. The garden storage box was full of dusty or broken pool toys, and tape was the only thing holding the pool walkway key in place. Some indoor and outdoor lights didn't work, and construction nearby took away from the charm. There were a few minor issues, but I still recommend the place because the concierge service was available and handled our requests effectively.

We work on the cleaning team for these homes, and can say they're very beautiful, with plenty of luxury for guests to enjoy their holidays. We've prepared many houses, and these apartments are among them. The bathrooms are impressive, each bedroom has its own en-suite, and the homes are very well equipped with a private pool and jacuzzi. Each house has its own character, and they're beautiful, thoughtfully laid out, and superbly equipped. It feels easy to settle in and feel at home. The location is somewhat isolated and there's not much of a lively atmosphere, though getting around by car is easy.
