We were back on the road by morning after arriving around 11PM on our drive through the south of France, so we only got to enjoy the sleep and breakfast. Still, the stay surprised us in the best way. Our room was roomy and private, with its own access rather than a shared entrance with the other rooms. The grounds were lovely, and the guest book, packed with pages from earlier visitors, spoke to how much people enjoyed being there. Breakfast was a treat: croissants, fruit picked from the garden, apple juice and sauce from the neighbouring orchard, homemade jams and local cured meats, all eaten with a view of the stream and flower garden. The hosts gave us space while checking that we were comfortable. My girlfriend and I would happily recommend a stop here to anyone staying in the area.

The Dordogne drifts past right outside, and breakfast is generous and really good. I TrueBlue also appreciated having a modern coffee machine there. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the host made us feel very welcome. If you're planning dinner, be sure to let them know in advance.

Dinner was a real highlight, especially the homemade candied fig I savored, just divine. The breakfast table was lovely too, and Isabelle and Stéphane made us feel so warmly welcome. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Leaving this magnificent estate brought a real pang of emotion. Congratulations again, and thank you for such a friendly stay.
