Mas Des Ballats

The area has plenty to do outdoors, from hiking and swimming to exploring caves, canoeing, and kayaking. Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois also has the basics nearby, including a butcher/caterer, cheese shop, pharmacy, bakery, and grocery store. Jean-Luc welcomed me warmly and let me enjoy his peaceful haven. I slept well, ate delicious meals, and felt completely disconnected from everyday life. I loved staying with my host and would happily come back. Thanks so much again, see you soon! 🙏🏻🌞💓💗💗

There’s a small, lovely pool with lots of shade, and the place is close to the Hérault gorges. It’s an eco-friendly site, so expect dry toilets and showers heated by hand. The setting is peaceful and quiet, just right for people who love nature. I’ll be back.

The room was spacious and comfortable, with its own bathroom and an adjoining terrace. Breakfast had tasty local products, and the value for money was excellent. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Set at the village edge by a pine forest, the property has a terraced garden, a lovely view, and plenty of quiet. I highly recommend it.

We had a great three days exploring the region and enjoying its attractions. The suite was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the pool has a breathtaking view, a lovely place to unwind after a busy day. Breakfast came with excellent homemade jams, and the meals had flavors from the garden. The owners made us feel so welcome. Thanks again for the hospitality.
