The village is charming, and the church next door has been beautifully restored. This place feels very nostalgic, but it’s closed at the moment. If it reopens, I hope the renovation is fully completed. The rooms, toilets, and heating are in very poor condition, so I wouldn’t recommend staying there as it is. I hope someone takes it over and renovates it.
The owner, who came from Pas-de-Calais (department 62), stops to chat with customers and see if they’re happy. It’s a lovely little inn in a village not far from Troyes, with a warm welcome and a simple menu built around the daily special. The dishes are basic, but there’s plenty of good-quality food. If you’re passing by, stop in. You won’t be disappointed. 👍
The meals are really affordable, and the place is friendly and welcoming. It’s run by a chef from the French Navy and his very kind partner. Give it a try, you’ll love it.
I get takeaway from here regularly, and it’s always been good. The portions are generous, everything is homemade, and the service is friendly.
The owners are welcoming and attentive, and I’d definitely recommend this place. We had the takeaway beef with carrots and potatoes, and it was generous and delicious. The whole family really enjoyed it. Thanks again!
