What a lovely surprise. It’s nicely placed between the sea and the charming little village. The staff were kind and very helpful, and the place was clean. Congratulations!

Techno music was blaring from someone on the campsite well past midnight, keeping our newborn awake for half the night. Nobody answered at reception. I’d avoid staying here, since there was clearly no staff on site to maintain even a basic level of respect on the property.

We had a great stay. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the pool was great for our 2 yo. There was also a playground and bouncy castle, even out of season. A few beaches, bars, and restaurants were a 10min walk away, with even more about 15mins by car.

The staff were so kind and generous. I’d booked a Maori Lodge tent for my stay from 23 September to 26 September 2020, and it was nice, but the first night was cold and draughty. When I asked at reception whether I could borrow a portable radiator, they took pity on me and upgraded me to a lovely, cosy one-bedroom bungalow for the next 2 nights, at no extra cost. Kudos to them!

The chalet was okay and well equipped, and the welcome pack had the essentials. The bottle of fizz in the fridge was a lovely gesture. There weren’t many electrical outlets, though, and the curtains and kitchen blinds need repairing. It also felt less private than other sites we’ve stayed at, with lots of vis à vis. We had to go to reception twice because the entry barrier wouldn’t work. Bread ordered the day before wasn’t available until 9 am, so we went into town, then couldn’t get back into the site. Reception staff were fairly courteous and polite, but I’d have appreciated less chat about their shift and more help for customers.
