Premiere Classe Saint Brice Sous Forêt

We managed to get the second night's refund in the end, but only after several emails and calls, and after I threatened to have my lawyer contact them. They'd said it might take up to six weeks to reimburse us. We'd booked two nights expecting somewhere basic but at least clean. The bed was comfortable enough for this sort of hotel, but the bathroom was filthy: hair completely blocked the shower drain, there were cigarette burns on the sink, and dirty marks covered the door and its frame. The cleaning looked very cursory. The hallways were even worse, covered in stained carpet and clutter that seemed like a fire hazard. At check-in, nobody was at reception. We waited and made some noise to get noticed, then rang the bell. The man who came over kept talking on the phone to a friend while checking us in, barely paying attention to us. After one night, we complained at reception and cancelled the second night.

The rooms are tiny, and the place smelled of cigarettes. Some people had a prostitute there, then stayed up all night smoking and making noise. Management did nothing to stop it.

Great.

The room felt overpriced, and the bathroom was very small. It was clean to a point, and the staff weren't very friendly.
