On a cold, dark winter evening, the receptionist patiently guided us by phone to the hotel, tucked into the city's pedestrian area. Edgar hôtel is in a beautiful Maison de Maître. Check-in was quick and pleasant, and there was an elevator for our huge suitcases. Our room was warm and beautifully decorated. The receptionist also suggested a restaurant that was open on a winter Sunday night. We slept well and enjoyed a tasty breakfast. Nothing but good things to say.

The restaurant food was superb, and the staff were attentive, helpful, and first class. A great hotel, highly recommend it.

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful week here. The owners and managers made us feel very welcome, and the location was perfect. They also offer a great breakfast package. We'd definitely come back.

The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were good, apart from the views. Staff weren't very polite, and they made me feel as if I was asking a favor whenever I needed anything. Breakfast was really, really poor.
