We’ll definitely come back when we can, maybe in summer too. The home-cooked food was superb after a day on the slopes, and the ski area and hire shops were just a few minutes away on flat ground. We booked Passe Montagne at the last minute for a February ski week, and Bernadette was fantastic from our first contact. When our flight was delayed, they stayed up late to welcome us and made us feel at home all week.

The heated boot room downstairs was ideal for all our ski gear, and the bedrooms were comfortable. We stayed for a week over New Year. The hosts and owners were warm, helpful, and full of good local suggestions. The lifts and town centre are both a five-minute walk away. Meals are shared around one table, which is a lovely way to meet other guests. There are books and games to enjoy by the log fire too. The plentiful home-cooked food was delicious, and we’d love to stay again.

A really pleasant short stay at the gîte. Thanks to Bernadette and Pierre, two lovely people, for their hospitality, great cooking, and especially their suggestions for places to visit nearby. It was a welcome chance to switch off up in the hills. I recommend it.
