The room next to the elevator and stairs meant the little sleep I got was interrupted by people moving around in the middle of the night. The beds were only 140x190, far too small for two tall adults, and we couldn't sleep at all. There were no spare mattresses or pillows, and the pillows provided were terrible. In the evening the black room was so dim that we couldn't find our things. There were no hooks for ski clothes, so wet gear had to go in the wardrobe. After being happy with an apartment at the Christal Lodge last year, we booked again, but the apartments were full and we could only stay in the hotel. It was a huge disappointment. For the price, I expected much more comfort. Worst experience ever, I wouldn't recommend it.

At checkout, they took money from our €2000 deposit without explaining why. We had to contact the hotel to learn it was because we hadn’t stripped the bedsheets, a rule nobody had told us about. We’d left the room clean and tidy. I contacted them again to ask for the money back; they explained the charge once, then stopped replying. You had a chance to sort this out and chose to ignore it. Our booked accommodation had water damage, and we were told only three days before our flight that it was unavailable. The replacement was described as an “upgrade,” but it was a bunk-bed room, more like an adult dormitory, for our full week. Check-in was listed as 4pm, changed to 5pm at the desk, and we finally got in nearly an hour later. After a long journey with skis, boots, and bags, we spent hours waiting around. The advertised ski-in/ski-out access was actually about a 10-minute walk to the slopes, with uphill stretches, roads, and steps. We were promised a chalet with views, but got a ground-floor bunker room with little daylight and a shared car park view. Late check-in, a room change caused by their issue, no instructions about the sheets, and a clean room still ended with a deduction from our deposit. Misleading advertising, disorganization, surprise charges, and no accountability. This was poor from start to finish, not just a heat-of-the-moment reaction. Avoid if possible. We certainly won’t be back.

We had a great time here. It’s very clean, the staff are lovely, and the location is perfect, about a two-minute walk to ski and close to lots of bars and restaurants.

There’s a well-kept spa with a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room, plus underground parking. The ski apartments are spacious and set up for self catering, with everything you need, including towels and linen. The slopes are about a five-minute walk away.
