Dinner was the highlight of our week. Our group of six enjoyed every dish, and the food was varied and delicious. Breakfast was good too, though it didn’t change from day to day. We stayed half board at Hotel Plein Sud for a week’s ski holiday, booked through Iglu Ski. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s well placed, under a ten-minute walk in ski gear to the main lift. Our room felt a little dated, but it was spacious and had an amazing mountain view. We’d happily return and recommend it.

For a last minute snowboarding trip, the hotel’s spot near the lift was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the owner was really pleasant. The food was amazing. Half board was more enjoyable, and consistently better, than the restaurants I visited on my last trip to Chantemerle in January. Compared with the cost of self catering and eating out, it makes sense to go half board. I’ll definitely be back next year. A*

The rooms were comfortable and had what we needed, including a balcony, safe, TV, mini fridge, WiFi and a good shower or bath. Breakfast was good, and the evening meals were fantastic. There’s no lunch, but plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. They did everything they could to make us comfortable and helped with the very young child in our group. A great place to stay for skiing in the area. Looking forward to coming back.

Dinner was amazing each night, with different dishes, plenty of choice, and fabulous flavours. The team made such a warm atmosphere that even guests who sometimes faced language barriers were friendly and chatty. From the minute we arrived, every person working there made a real effort to welcome us. They’re genuine and incredibly hard working. We laughed all through the stay and are already planning another trip. Thanks to Seb, Linda and all the team, from "The McCarthy's🥂🥂🥂"

Lynne and her staff gave us a lovely welcome at this delightful hotel, a wonderful find in Chantemerle. The room was clean and warm. Breakfast was good, with fresh croissants and eggs every day, and the fixed price dinner was good value. The pool and steam room were a nice extra. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.
