The host was really friendly and easy to communicate with. We stayed as a group of ten, and there was plenty of room in the well-equipped house, plus a big garden. It’s in a lovely spot in the Chartreuse, near Chambéry and Grenoble.

We loved the owners, and a fireplace in winter is such a nice touch. It’s a lovely building in an area with good hiking, and worked well for our small group.

Staying at Domaine de la Sauge was something special. The manor house has a historic feel, but we felt right at home, and the surroundings are beautiful.

Catherine gave us such a warm welcome. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the lovely winter room, with a view of the Chartreuse mountains. The estate is beautiful and peaceful, even though it’s fairly close to the road, and Chambéry is about 20 minutes away. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Domaine de la Sauge. The inn is charming and spacious, with a lovely view of the Chartreuse mountains, and we were welcomed so warmly. We’re thinking of returning in summer to get away from the Rhône Valley heat. Highly recommended!
