We were planning just one night, but stayed for two, partly because we loved falling asleep to the river. It’s a peaceful campground with clean, well-kept facilities, friendly staff, and a quaint restaurant serving pizza and breakfast options. The town and several restaurants are only a short walk away. Sites are limited, so call ahead to book.

Les Airelles had what I needed as a tired cyclist: clean rooms, good food, and staff who were lovely and welcoming.

A central base for visiting the lovely area around Saint-Cirque-en-Montagne.

The campsite beside the pretty river is a lovely, relaxing spot. We were there in the chilly off-season and got a warm welcome from the owner, along with some excellent advice. When the temperature dropped, they quickly moved us to a fully renovated hotel room with a private bathroom. It was very pleasant, with views of the village of St-Cirgues and the river. We highly recommend it.

Rain, hail, and snow couldn't spoil our Ascension weekend in the chalet. It was very spacious and comfortable, and the owners made us feel as welcome as the campsite itself does. We'll be back soon.
